Looking for U.S. Commercial Liability Insurance – EU-based seller

Hi everyone,

We’re a Slovakia-based company selling on Amazon.com (U.S. marketplace).

We recently received the official request from Amazon to provide a Commercial Liability Insurance certificate with U.S. coverage and Amazon.com Services LLC listed as additional insured.

Unfortunately, we’ve contacted multiple insurance providers in Slovakia (including Marsh and Colonnade), but none of them are able to offer a policy that covers the United States. All declined due to territorial limitations.

We are currently stuck and unsure how to proceed.

Are there any EU-based sellers here who successfully managed to obtain Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance that meets Amazon’s U.S. requirements?

Any brokers or providers you could recommend?

We would really appreciate your input and suggestions.

I am in the same situation, I am in Spain, Marsh Spain does not reply and says on google they need 45 days to reply any request.

My regular insurance company can offer insurance for Amazon EU but not Amazon USA

I continue to try to find a solution

If you currently do not have liability insurance or are looking for a new policy, you can choose any insurance provider that meets the requirements. To help you easily and affordably secure liability insurance, we have worked with an insurance broker to create Amazon Insurance Accelerator, a network of insurance providers who will evaluate and, if appropriate, offer liability insurance at competitive rates to qualifying sellers.
