Looking for U.S. Commercial Liability Insurance – EU-based seller (Slovakia)
Hi everyone,
We’re a Slovakia-based company selling on Amazon.com (U.S. marketplace).
We recently received the official request from Amazon to provide a Commercial Liability Insurance certificate with U.S. coverage and Amazon.com Services LLC listed as additional insured.
Unfortunately, we’ve contacted multiple insurance providers in Slovakia (including Marsh and Colonnade), but none of them are able to offer a policy that covers the United States. All declined due to territorial limitations.
We are currently stuck and unsure how to proceed.
Are there any EU-based sellers here who successfully managed to obtain Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance that meets Amazon’s U.S. requirements?
Any brokers or providers you could recommend?
We would really appreciate your input and suggestions.

You are here in the German Seller Forum, where sellers can exchange information and help each other. 99 per cent of the focus here is on the DE and EU marketplaces.
Your concern is probably much better handled in the US Seller Forum - precisely because the sellers there need exactly this insurance to sell on Amazon. Therefore, there should also be providers of such policies in the USA - even for sellers based in Europe.
