Hello Sellers

I hope this message finds you very well. I'm here because the last 10 days Amazon are requesting brand Approval again, they approved 4 years back, I don't know if anybody or any amazon professional from Amazon has idea why they are doing this again. Just for clarify my account are in perfect condition and don't have any notification from Amazon or E-mail. I have loads of inventory which is now in stranded almost 5K units, some listings are still doing well of the same brand while 62 listings need approval ! Please help me out, thanks

No way to know for sure, but it sounds like the brand is trying to cut down on the number of sellers selling their products; maybe even wanting to sell directly themselves with no competition. This could explain why things have changed.

Assuming that you've had permission from the brand previously, it might be a good idea to contact your account rep with the brand to see if they will authorize you to keep selling, or at least let you sell out existing inventory.

most likely, you will need a letter of authorization from the brand. Make sure they include all the information that Amazon requests. The letters has to be current, the date within 90 days, I believe.

Are your invoices within the dates that Amazon requires- they have to be recent

Hello @Seller_52aP0LtbB5SCb,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. While you may have been approved in the past, as the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction.

A letter of authorization (LOA) can be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations If you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.

You will find more details about this using the resources below:

Restricted products

Products that require approval

Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell

Regards,
