Amazon should vet a listing violation before approving a listing rather than finding problem with it lateron

I mean on what basis are people at amazon approving listing then lateron finding problems with it on one point or another.

wouldnt it be proper on amazon's part to vet the listing on all counts before approving the listing. let it take a few days for approval but once approved there shouldnt be any issues with it. As for IP related issues; yes that is understandable that amazon acts when it receives complaints but for Restricted products issues dont they know the product is restricted when they approved the listing.

i recently received a policy violation of restricted product after the listing has been live for almost a year i mean how does the product suddently become a restricted product. @Noor_Amazon_

Hi @Maya_Stickers ,

To understand correctly, the product you've listed was indeed a restricted one? Or, there's an issue and you've provided necessary proofs to explain the situation?

Noor

yes i got the same yesterday. i listed a sunscreen a year ago. It is not a restricted product but i got the violation report that it contains Tretinoin and it is a restricted product. that was so random and unnecessary.

Hi,

I am not exactly sure that why did that happen , but I guess that the product you listed was not a registered brand earlier and in the mean time the brand you listed under got the registered trademark for their brand. And then they got it updated on the amazon brand registry and got the other sellers removed by making the product restricted. That's what I guess happened with you.
