Reporting Serial Abuse of False DMCA Copyright Claims
Dear Mods,
In March 2025, we received the following DMCA copyright complaints from a competitor on our products with complaint ids:
17075913271, 17076192531, 17076216601, 17076042431, 17088482411, 17076148141, 18054740101, 18055057041.
These complaints were baseless and appear to have been filed strategically to suppress fair competition on the Amazon platform during peak season. I submitted DMCA counter notices for each claim, and all affected listings were subsequently reinstated.
This pattern represents a clear abuse of Amazon’s copyright reporting system. It has resulted in substantial harm to our business—causing lost sales, wasted advertising spend, and significant damage to our listings’ sales rank.
I have already submitted a report of this abuse through the Account Health “Report Abuse” tool, but I am scared that the competitor will do it again during peak season.
We respectfully request that Amazon take appropriate action against the party filing these repeated false complaints and help prevent further misuse of the system. The competitor has also sent us a letter in the mail stating to abandon the product or he will be reporting us again. We ignored the letter as we are brand registered and have better things to do than dwell upon than a seller's insecurity.
