Premium Shipping bug to be aware of
I just ran across yet another Amazon bug. They're like minefields, you never know when one is going to trip you up. I don't normally offer premium shipping options, but I had a customer say they really needed an item shipped by Next Day Air, so I added the option to the shipping template so they could order it that way with the appropriate shipping cost. Then, I unchecked the "Next Day" option in the shipping template to turn it back off when we were done. Lo and behold apparently while Amazon's system was making the change (probably about 15 minutes), Amazon made all of the products on the template offer the Next Day shipping option for free! It was never set to free. Now Amazon is expecting me to ship the order by Next Day Air due to their inability to properly program. Not happening, I'll just take the premium shipping hit and lose premium shipping. I never use it anyway, I was just trying to do a buyer a favor. That will teach me! I messaged the buyer and informed them of Amazon's screw up and that the order won't be shipping by Next Day Air as Amazon led them to believe.
