Pending payment verification
Several of my orders, despite being Prime eligible, are stuck in "waiting for payment verification" status. Can anyone explain what's causing this delay? Additionally, one of my orders was canceled because it wasn't shipped within 7-8 days.

Since you mention "Prime", I'll assume that these are FBA.
In that case, it's all up to Amazon. If there is a problem with a payment, the customer has 7 days to attempt to fix it; hence a Pending can drop off after 7 days and never be shipped (since the customer can try a fix on day 7, and can do this twice, it can take up to 21 days for an order to go away).
If there is no real problem, it will stay in Pending until Amazon ships it. Note that while your products may be "Prime Eligible", there are still plenty of customers who are not Prime. These orders often take several days to be shipped.
Regardless, for FBA, there is nothing you can do, nor should you try. You pay Amazon to deal with any and all shipping problems, don't try to do what you're paying them to do.
