Labelling Help

Hello, I am a new Amazon seller and I am looking to send my first product off for FBA. I have the option ready to list as FBA, but need to help on the labelling part.

I have been reading up on how the labelling works but I am a little confused. My product has GTIN exemption as the product is branded and is the first to be sold so I had a new ASIN generated for my product. I want to pay the Amazon labelling fee which I believe is 15p per product, but reading the guide it says that for them to label the product for me I need to have a manufacturer barcode on the product already. What do I need to do in this instance please?

Print the labels and stick them on yourself is your remaining choice.

I don’t really know what this is supposed to mean? A product being branded doesn’t mean a GTIN exemption is required.

If your product has no barcode and you have gtin exemption on it then you can’t use amazon’s labelling service, they use the manufacturer barcode to find your product, so if there’s no barcode they aren’t going to go through your inventory playing snap with photos and checking descriptions to find the right product.

If you have gtin exemption then you’ll have to label them yourself

Thank you both for your help! I think I was reading into it all too much and had really over complicated it all in my head!
Thanks again!
