Thanksgiving dinner, who would you like to see at your table?

img

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we are wondering, if you could invite anyone, living or historical, to your Thanksgiving dinner, who would it be and why?

I will start. I would love to see my grandpa on my moms side of the family. I have always heard what an amazing man he was. I would have loved to get to meet him and know him myself.

I can't wait to see who everyone else would like to see at their table. It can be anyone that you want.

Who do you think most people on here would say...

Jeff Bezos, maybe to see if he can help fix my listing, since he will listen to the problem, & see what I'm saying.

we wished Amazon could actually "thanks" all your local sellers for "giving" and help build today's Amazon, NOT actually pushing them to the limits and charging more and more sales while Amazon is going downhills.

Very easy! Chef Gordon Ramsay so he can cook the best Thanksgiving meal ever and cuss me out while I eat it :)

I would invite Andrew Jassy to my family's Thanksgiving table.

The reason behind this is so that I could look him in the eyes and ask him why his company treats sellers so poorly and how he intends to address rampant and fixable problems.

Seller Support is abysmal, they should remove the word support from their title. Absolutely no help from them, all copy and paste with irrelevant information that doesn't address the core issue.

Amazon buries relevant products favoring ad spend over getting the right product in buyers' hands. That will ultimately ruin buyer trust and sink this platform. I have been spending less here because I can't easily find what I'm looking for. Amazon needs to put the right product in front of buyers so they can buy it, not some spam listings.

Amazon expects more and more from us while giving us less and less for the fees we pay. FBA placement fees, low inventory fees, fees for breathing will be next. Amazon has bled us dry, we have no more to give.

Extended delivery dates being shown to buyers for no good reason. Looking at metrics and carrier performance Amazon is getting these promise extensions completely wrong. Clearly Amazon is data driven, none of the data makes Amazon's actions make any sense. It is hurting buyers as well as they feel pressured to buy something else or from another platform if they really like the item and they see they can get it faster elsewhere because Amazon is knowingly sharing false delivery dates.

AI has RUINED top sellers for us. Amazon added product dimension illustrations to some of our listings that are switching length for width. The same brilliant AI is changing variation names, pack quantities, you name it! When we reach out to seller support NO help at all. What an absolute joke Amazon has become.

So yeah, there is plenty to talk about with Mr. Jassy, doubt he'll listen to a word we mere sellers have to say though. Just about everyone at Amazon seems to not be able to do anything about any real pain point that we bring up. Why ask for our opinions and feedback if nothing ever changes? It's just there to make it look like someone cares. Don't belittle us, just do better.

Hey @Michelle_Amazon, Great question. I would also invite my Grandfathers. I miss them very much and Thanksgiving isn't quite the same without them. 🙏 ~ Cooper_Amazon

If I could, I would probably like to invite The Little Match Girl and the little animals that left us in the cold winter. Because I want the world to be peaceful, I want the world to be friendly.

I wish my grandpa could have dinner with us. She was a great woman, mom, grandma. She passed away this year on Jan.4th. I just want to tell her I miss her so much.

Easy.

Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Jimmy Paige

First, I would brainstorm with Jeff and Elon on how to fix Amazon's rapid decline - MAGA - Make Amazon Great Again!

Then, I would serenade everyone by singing " In My Time Of Dying" while Jimmy played guitar.

A perfect day.
