Sync Brand Name Soon

I have a listing that is brand approved but listed as generic. My logo is permanently affixed on my product. Amazon granted my brand approval for unregistered brand that prompted the error 5665 when I listed my product. I would now like to apply for Brand Registry for this product. Would I be able to sync my registered brand with my existing listing once my brand registry is approved?

I found a similar scenario in the forum, where Amazon's response states 'no need to create a new listing.' This contradicts most of the information I've encountered, which typically advises creating a new listing in such cases.

Hi @Seller_ASJFTFXfmnOFQ

Thank you for your comment.

Scenario 1: The first screenshot you have attached is if a seller creates an ASIN that is NOT their brand name. For example, they listed their ASIN as "Generic" but want to change it to "Brand ABC" after enrolling in Brand Registry.

Scenario 2: The second screenshot mentioned by Jim refers to if a seller created an ASIN with the brand name "Brand ABC" without brand registry, however want to transfer the ASIN under their brand after enrolling in Brand Registry (with trademark) with "Brand ABC." Here, you can see that there are no changes to the brand name, and is exactly the same as what is listed on the trademark.

If you have scenario 2, you will be able to keep the listings. Please let me know if you have any questions.
