Amazon - Royal Mail Delivery Issue

Hello,

We have sending our Amazon parcels through the Royal Mail 2nd Class Service.
Upon checking the tracking info of the parcel, they showing us delivered but the customer saying that he didn’t received the parcel.
Is anyone facing problems with this delivery service?

Personally no problems whatsoever.
You need to be aware that some customers do try it on and claim INR hoping for a refund.
Also, it is possible that it has been delivered to wrong address. You can ask the customer to confirm their delivery address.
Contact your customer, send them a screen shot of the tracking info showing as delivered, and wait and see how they respond.

Agree with @JillyB1 we get this occasionally (disclosure - we ship using Royal Mail 48 with tracking number, but don’t use Amazon Buy Shipping). The tracking will show a GPS location and time and date, but nothing more

  • It could be the customer has received it, but another member of the house has put it somewhere
  • it could be its gone to a neighbour or a Safe Space, and RM haven’t left a card
  • It could be the customer knows what would happen if they took it to A to Z

At the end of the day, we know the risk of it going to A to Z, so adjudge if we think we can take the hit.
