Fraudulant IP Registrations and complaints

We recently received an IP complaint against our account for a product that has been in the public domain since 2011. Someone registered the IP for this in March 2025 and is now using it to remove their competition from Amazon.

It is becoming a game of wack a mole, as soon as we approach the IPO to remove the fraudulent claim, they register another.

So far, there has been little willingness to help resolve this from Amazon, all legal roots are proving very expensive and not cost effective to pursue.

Given how this has gone and suspensions potentially in place for weeks with no cost or recompense to the fraudulent claimant, what is to stop anyone registering a public design as their own and destroying the competition with bureaucracy?
