Title: Bulk Converting Amazon Barcodes to Manufacturer Barcodes - Any Tips?
Hi everyone,
I currently have over 6,000 listings on Amazon, and I estimate that around 500 of these listings are using Amazon barcodes (FNSKU). When I first started, I wasn't aware of the differences, and now I want to switch as many listings as possible to use manufacturer barcodes instead. This will allow me to ship items in their original cases and save a lot of time on prepping.
The issue is that I'm currently converting these listings one by one, selecting the manufacturer barcode option when I relist. However, some listings aren't eligible for this conversion, so I end up continuing as before.
Does anyone know of a way to bulk convert listings from Amazon barcodes to manufacturer barcodes? Or any tips on how to speed up this process? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi @Best_Med_Now_123,
Thanks for the post.
Please note that there are three kinds of barcodes for identifying products:
-Manufacturer barcodes (eligible barcodes include UPC, EAN, JAN, and ISBN)
-Amazon barcodes (such as FNSKU labels that start with an X)
-Transparency authenticity code (brand owner only, may be required to help prevent counterfeit)
By default, we use the manufacturer barcode to track eligible inventory throughout the fulfillment process, unless you change your barcode setting or your product is not eligible.
I would recommend looking at your account to see which barcode preference you currently have selected. To do this, please go to Fulfillment by Amazon settings then scroll down to FBA product barcode preference.
For more information and best practices for product barcodes, I'd encourage you to read through these help pages:

If this does not help, please open a case with Seller Support and share the case id with us on The Forums.
Best regards and have a good weekend.
