A client I work for wants to use FBA in Europe, they are a UK-based company. Their latest shipment got refused at the Amazon warehouse because they don’t have a French EORI number.
How do you obtain a French EORI number and do you need to be VAT-registered in France to get one?

yes - you also need to be VAT registered in France to store stock in France - same for any EU country that is not your home country
it will have also flagged their requirements on amazon.fr to have a VAT number and therefore may also cause account suspension
