Missing units at FBA FRA3 FC Units vanished after receiving!

Hey all! Units vanish! Amazon received shipments at their warehouses and they checked in with the correct quantities. Some 4 days later they subtracted out by doing events that are categorized as “Receipts” but have negative numbers. These aren’t transfers to other warehouses or acknowledged losses. Is anyone else having similar problems? Any suggestions?Hope someone might have some insight. TIA to all!

Later I started some cases. Attached the documents like POD with the signature, received inventory report inventory event details report, invoice etc.
And the most common responses I got:

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

We understand that there are units that have not been added into your inventory from the shipment ID: FBA15F3B4DG0 and you would like us to investigate on them. Please allow me to assist you.

On investigating internally, we could see that our fulfillment center has performed an automatic check, trying to reconcile the shipment and make sure the units have been properly prepped and counted as per specification. We do understand that your next question will be how the fulfillment center have confirmed the unit count for this shipment? The fulfillment center Associates do a physical check of each shipment received at the fulfillment center at various points to ensure that none of the units are left at any points at our fulfillment center.

Millions of products are received and sold on Amazon.com as we follow decisive standard procedure to make 0% errors. However, sometimes accidents do happen. This is not an excuse but we want to tell you that we strive to be the earths most customer centric company by eliminating those small errors. Once again we apologies for all the frustration caused to you in this regards and we hope you’ll give us another chance.

Therefore, we regret to inform you that our Fulfillment Center is sure of these units not being part of your shipment - after performing multiple checks for accuracy. This is also why you were unable to create the case from the reconcile tab of your shipment contents page, and instead, have manually written to us using the contact us page.

We as associates are strictly not allowed to override the FC’s decision. But since its the FC’s decision of these units being ineligible, we feel dispirited in telling you that we will not be able to conduct an investigation for these missing units that are ineligible for investigation.

According to Amazon’s Policy regarding this, our Fulfillment Centers perform an automatic check for you in order to determine the accuracy of the item quantity received. This check is performed at multiple points for this accuracy. When our associates at the FC confirm that all the units shipped have been received, and that some units were never found in the shipment, they automatically label these missing units as being ineligible for investigation.

This Policy has made it mandatory for us seller support associates to not work on any units that have been marked as ‘Ineligible for Investigation’ by our Fulfillment Center. I hope you understand how we as associates cannot conduct this investigation as this policy is being evoked strongly and adherence to it has been made vital.

Therefore, we will not be able to assist you in reconciling this shipment.

We associates, from our end, still made the following attempts to check if your units could be located :

=================================================================================

>> We looked into your other shipments to see if your units had been mis-received, but did not find any.

>> We further looked in our holding accounts, to see if the units you are missing from your shipment could have been present there, but were again unsuccessful.

>> We have done all possible searches, but have come to the conclusion that there is no way to account for the missing units.

This process usually ensures a seamless experience for your prospective customers when units ship out to them. To learn more, you can read the following help page:

  1. I understand your concern regarding the missing units on the shipment: FBA15F3B4DG0.

The units in shipment [FBA15F3B4DG0] appear to have been [lost in transit or arrived damaged and returned]. Because [UPS] is not an Amazon-Partnered carrier, we cannot provide reimbursement for these items. Many carriers assume limited liability for damage or loss in transit. We recommend you to work with the carrier for reimbursement and ensure that you have appropriate insurance for future shipments.

  1. Good day.

I understand that you are requesting an investigation of missing units from shipment number: FBA15F3B4DG0 Allow me to assist you in this regard.

I would like to inform you that missing units from the shipment number: FBA15F3B4DG0 have been marked as" Verification completed: shipment components counted and confirmed ". Allow me to explain the information.

The Logistics Center has performed an automated check that attempts to reconcile the shipment and ensure that the units have been properly prepared and counted according to the specification. Logistics center staff check each shipment received at the logistics center at various points to ensure that none of the units remain at any points in our logistics center.

Our credit operations team declined to investigate this case because the logistics center is certain that this unit is not part of your shipment - after multiple checks were made for accuracy. For this reason, you were also unable to create the case through the “Reconciliation” tab of your Shipment Content page and instead wrote to us manually through the “Contact Us” page.

According to Amazon’s policy on this, our logistics centers will perform an automated verification for you to determine the accuracy of the item quantity received. This verification is performed at multiple points for this accuracy. If our FC staff confirms that all units delivered were received and that some units were never found in the shipment, they automatically designate those missing units as not eligible for investigation.

This policy has made it mandatory for us that our vendor service representatives do not work on units that have been flagged by our logistics center as “Not Eligible for Investigation”. I hope you understand how we, as employees, cannot conduct this investigation as this policy is highly evoked and compliance is critical.

This process typically ensures a seamless experience for your potential customers when units are delivered to them. For more information, please see the following help page:
