Incorrect Brand Name Change on Own Product

Hello, I am looking for assistance with one of our ASINs.

Earlier this year it suddenly changed brand names without our knowledge. We are the brand owner and manufacturer of this product and there's no one else that sells the product. We are the only seller on the listing. We've been selling this product for 8 years now and suddenly the brand name changes to the incorrect one which stops us from selling it on Vendor Central and FBA.

I've opened a case # 15600156821 but keep receiving the same generic response that we cannot rebrand the product, which doesn't make sense if someone else was able to rebrand it in the first place. Seller support keeps telling me to create a new ASIN, which I can't since the UPC is already associated with this ASIN. We have the GS1 certificate and brand trademark. The product clearly has our brand on the product and packaging which I've provided pictures of.

I'm hoping a mod can help with this issue.

Thank you.

I just finished up with a case like this. I had to work hard, but was assisted by the "Leadership Dept." and the "Catalogue Department". STAY ON IT! Give them all the info. If you have proof of first setting it up, or whatever, give it to them. Don't get made with the workers, or they will just go away. They are only working for Amazon, so make them your friends and EVERY DAY, make sure the case is open and being worked on. I even had to make up a new name without the product name because they took that and it was a big problem. Our inventory even got stranded for a while, and we were told to ask for permission to sell this new name brand that we do NOT sell and do not have. It was not easy, but it can be done. Breathe and work with them. Again, the workers are not responsible for this and the problems. Amazon as a company is and the Chinese companies that are hijacking the items.

Good luck and BREATHE!!!!

Is that brand registered with brand central? Is it trademarked?

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I made up a brand when I first started and it turned out that this one product became hot. As it wasn't actually registered in brand central and not trademarked it was overtaken. I did get the other sellers off the listing, but now I have to actually get the trademark and register with brand central before I can relist. live and learn.
