Lab chemical incorrectly classified as a supplement
We sell a lab chemical which is being classified by Amazon as a dietary supplement. We found that the category of the product was shown to be in gl_drugstore. We requested this to be changed for accuracy. Within 24 hours the listing was restricted.
We have appealed multiple times and continues to get the same statement which says: This product has been identified as a dietary supplement that does not meet Food and Drug Administration (FDA) labeling requirements. Amazon policy prohibits products marketed to U.S. consumers that are FDA regulated products, such as cosmetics, drugs, or dietary supplements, that do not meet FDA labeling requirements.
The product is a lab chemical, it is not regulated by the FDA, and thus is not labeled as a dietary supplement. It is not a supplement. We have reviewed and edited our listing to ensure no content is giving the suggestion that this product is a supplement.
Can a mod please help.
