Confused about compliance requirements for bluetooth speakers
I looked up the compliance reference tool and was not able to find any information on computer bluetooth speakers. I checked on chat GPT 3.5 and it said that FCC part 15 is needed for compliance. I also see that Supplier Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) is required. It stated that UL is not required, but that is what im mostly confused about right now. I saw someone else's youtube video, and it said that nowadays even if UL is not required, still amazon will want the UL compliance documents. I look up on compliance gate and it states that UL 60950-1 – Information Technology Equipment – Safety – Part 1: General Requirements might be needed and UL 1492 – Audio-Video Products and Accessories might be needed. The speakers I am planning on selling are bluetooth computer speakers that do not have a rechargable battery and are connected by aux 3.5mm cable and usb A wire cables. Please help. Thank you!

Hello @Seller_z8me9obcnPy7P- thanks for bringing this question to forums as I would bet there are other sellers out there with similar questions!
Here is our help page on Radio Frequency devices, which includes Bluetooth devices. That page also links out to the relevant FCC pages which confirm the need for FCC equipment authorization. While I can't speak to what specific compliance documents might be needed for specific products, please do review the FCC pages linked above and any requests for documentation from Amazon as you do list the items!
Thanks very much,
Danny
