Forced to switch from FBM to FBA
Out of nowhere Amazon has closed some important FBM listings of mine with the message "Ineligible for seller fulfillment" and suggests I switch to FBA. I really, really do not want to switch to FBA. I loose money and some control. Why would they do this? How do I reverse this action?

Usually its a sign of drop ship or delivery issues. Amazon is trying to help you to keep selling instead of just removing you.

Does this affect all of your FBM listings, or only selected ASINs?

As @Seller_0rXAME9V4LQSx has mentioned, this has happened historically with the issues they mentioned.
Since in a different post you mentioned tying in with your Shopify site I'm guessing it is a delivery/tracking issue.
I say that also because when they offered the option to people caught dropshipping nearly all of them that did move to FBA later got suspended permanently for other related violations anyway.
I refuse to do FBA so I have no clue as to what I would do other than what I already am -- expanding to other sites as quickly as I can, time allowing.

Greetings @Seller_9Ykm6aD0jaipi,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums to obtain help with Ineligibility for seller fulfillment.
I am not 100% sure about the reason of your intelligibility for seller fulfillment but in cases when Amazon gives the seller only the possibility of shipping their orders using FBA is because of tracking or shipping issues.
As a means of protecting customers, Amazon monitors seller-fulfilled orders to ensure customers are receiving the items they purchased in a timely fashion. Amazon can place your selling account under review to monitor your selling activity and validate delivery on recent seller-fulfilled orders. During this time, which should not exceed 30 days, we can limit your selling privileges as a preventative measure against further possible impact to Amazon customers.
If you believe there has been an error, or you would like the review process expedited, go to the Account Health tab in Seller Central. Click Appeal or submit an email to the address provided in the email communication sent to you when your account was placed on review.
As we don't have enough information about your issue, I would like to request that is you still need help, to provide more details such as performance notifications and screenshots so we can help you accurately.
Note: please do not share any personal information here.
The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward. We're here to help in any way we can.
