Review policy violation

Amazon's policy explicitly prohibits review solicitations that seek only positive feedback or offer compensation for reviews. Despite this, I've encountered a situation that deeply concerns me and affects the integrity of the platform. As a long-standing seller on Amazon for the past four years, my team and I have dedicated ourselves to offering quality products and have accrued around 600 ratings and 20 reviews for our suture practice kit during this period. However, a few months back, a new seller entered the market with a similar product. Suddenly they got lot of reviews for their product To investigate the matter further, I personally purchased the new suture practice kit from this competitor and discovered a disturbing tactic. Inside the kit, there was a promotional offer promising customers a cashback of Rs. 100 in exchange for leaving a 5-star review of the product. This practice blatantly violates Amazon's review policies and creates an unfair advantage for this seller. This issue not only undermines the credibility of reviews but also poses a significant threat to genuine sellers like us who strive to maintain ethical standards on the platform. I have registered a complaint using my buyer portal of amazon and they informed like they will take necessary action against the seller. But nothing was happened and the seller is still doing the same. I have raised lot of cases and also used report abuse option. But nothing was happened. Kindly advise is there any way to sort this issue.

we had also faced similar situation, and had ordered a product from a competitor; and the tactic was similar- paytm cashback for 5 star review. We also had raised complain from buyer portal. Amazon does not listen to these complaints.

It is better that you look into your strategies rather than blaming someone else for your sales on amazon. Every seller should have a strategy and competitors will always keep coming.
