Using Shipping Settings Automation (SSA), but no option without late delivery risk

I received an order with Second Day shipping. Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) is enabled in the profile. The order is going to Puerto Rico, to an address that USPS nor FedEx can validate. On Google Maps, I can see that the street "Calle Chapin" exists but not that house number. The address is "## Calle Chapin Playa" (obviously hiding the house number). I tried taking off the word "Playa" and that didn't work either. Even if the address were valid, Amazon Buy Shipping does not give me any option that would actually deliver the parcel on time.

I opened support case no. 15904911421 with Rhon, who suggested I use Buyer-Seller messaging to ask the buyer to update their address. He assured me that the address would then be updated within the order. This doesn't sound right to me at all. Can anyone (e.g., mods) provide any insight on this?
