Amazon Warehouse and Distribution fees
I am trying to sort out of Amazon warehouse and distribution is a good solution for my brand but could use some help understanding the fees. My product is sold as a 12 pack beverage. It would be shipped on a full pallet. What I would like clarity on is the "processing" cost. Would that processing rate be per 12 pack? So $2.50-$2.13 per unit?

Hi @Seller_MOwDYIXxYTb4V,
Is the 12 pack in question packaged as a box?

Hi @Seller_MOwDYIXxYTb4V
I think @Topher_Amazon is asking about your packaging because:
- The processing fee is charged per box, not per unit (12-pack) (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G97KWBDL5HWJZZPK)
- For beverages, products must be "properly prepared and sealed... appropriately packaged and labeled" to protect quality and safety and avoid damage (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200164550)
According to the 'Amazon Warehousing and Distribution fees' help page (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GAYG62Q3MPE6STFS), the processing fees are:
- Base rate: $2.50 per box
- Integrated rate: $2.13 per box (if using Amazon Global Logistics, SEND, or Partnered Carrier program)
Something to keep in mind for future planning: Starting April 1, 2025, the processing fee will be split into two charges - one when inventory arrives at the distribution center (inbound) and another when it's shipped out to Amazon's fulfillment network or other sales channels (outbound).
Hope this helps.
Kind regards, Michael
