The Notifications API in the Amazon Selling Partner API is used to receive notifications from Amazon about events related to your seller account and your product listings, as you set the notifications of your preference. It allows you to receive real-time updates on various events, such as order updates, product review updates, fulfillment updates, and more.
The Notifications API provides the following main functionalities:
• Subscribe to notification types: You can subscribe to different types of notifications that are relevant to your business. This allows you to specify which events you want to receive notifications for, such as new orders, order cancellations, refunds, or product review updates.
• Receive notifications: Once you have subscribed to the desired notification types, Amazon will send notifications to your application or webhook endpoint whenever the corresponding events occur. These notifications are delivered in real-time or near real-time.
• Process notifications: Your application can process the received notifications and take appropriate actions based on the notification type and content. For example, if you receive a notification about a new order, you can initiate the order fulfillment process or update your inventory management system.
