Buying shipping outside of Amazon
We've just sold a big and expensive Lego set FBM. The only options we're given to buy are Evri but it won't come close to covering the insurance on it.
Is it a big no-no to buy shipping off-Amazon? We've been almost exclusively FBA for years so not experience on this side of things.

Its fine, just put the right service and tracking number in when you confirm dispatch

You can use whatever service you want, and make sure it is one where the full value is covered. As said, just be sure, when you confirm shipment, that you enter the tracking and shipping details correctly, eg. if RM do NOT put in hyphens or spaces. I often use other carriers as I do not have an Evri shop near me, and as you say the compensation is useless for expensive items.
