FBA case quantity enquiry

Hi,

I’m getting somewhat conflicting information from Amazon on this matter so I was wondering if anybody might be able to help.

The product we want to sell via FBA comes packed in case quantities of 12 units – rather than unpack and then repackage a number of these full boxes, we were hoping to just put several of these full boxes of 12 into a larger shipping carton and send them like that.

For a test I tried to set up a shipment of 36 units (so, three boxes) which we intended to pack into a larger box. However when I proceeded with this it gave us three separate labels as if we were going to be shipping each box individually – which they certainly aren’t large enough to warrant!

Is there any way for us to set up a shipment and specify that it will contain a number of case quantities of the product, or in this case would we simply have to open these up and send everything as loose units in a larger box?

Isn't that right?

Your test was the equivalent of depositing 3 inventories into the Amazon warehouse, so Amazon gave you 3 tags. All you need to do is put those 3 boxes into a larger one and label the outer box and everything is perfect.
