Amazon closed my seller account and froze my £20,000 funds after I asked someone to remove hijacker from my listing.
They claimed I violated their policies, froze £20,000, and left approximately 10,000 pcs items in inventory unsellable. I personally believe that while they might have the authority to close my account, there's no legal basis for freezing my funds. Would hiring a lawyer help to get the money back?

It depends what they deactivated your account for. The funds are likely to have been frozen to cover any potential returns.
Or if they believe you would fail KYC they can’t risk transferring money under these rules.

Is this a private label listing? Did you get a trademark for your listing? Someone potentially may have trademarked your brand name and created a case to Amazon to get you removed off of the listing. Could be a possibility - hope this was helpful.

For the power that amazon uses on us little sellers that is why I withdraw money every 24 hours never allowing it to build up for the normal 14 days period

Did someone change the Brand of a product?
What did the agency actually do?
These things would be helpful to know before anyone can give advice about hiring a lawyer.
