Account deactivated - Amazon saying I have a duplicate account that I've never heard of.
My account that is in good standing has been deactivated because Amazon is saying that I have a duplicate account. They named the duplicate account (Excel+LentChoice) which I have never heard of. I filed the appeal telling them I've never heard of that account and that it must be an error and my appeal was rejected for insufficient evidence.
So they are asking me to provide proof that I never created an account that I have never heard of?? How about my answer from the owner of an account in good standing with a registered brand??? I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE OTHER ACCOUNT? How am I supposed to provide proof of the non-existence of something, and why doesn't my word as the owner of an account in good standing with a registered brand not count as proof??
In the meantime, my account is deactivated. This is crazy! Has anyone else had this happen?
I can't provide proof of something that I have never set up, created or have zero association with! How about deactivating the account in question and leaving the account that is in good standing active while conducting your investigation??
Amazon is asking for documents proving the other account isn't my account or related to my account. What documents would I have? There are none, since I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT! My account has now been deactivated for 2 days right before the holiday season when I'm trying to set up FBA for the holidays.
What can I do??

The reason this happens in most cases, is because you, or another person, opened their Amazon account on the same computing device. Through the cookies/tokens Amazon places in your computing devise every time the account is accessed, it is easy for Amazon to check what accounts are being opened on what device. When two different accounts are recognized as being opened on the same computing device, they are both suspended. Do you know someone else who’s account was also suspended?
Well, don’t use the appeal, Amazon Made A Mistake, because it will be rejected. Amazon knows the date, time, and IP Address both accounts were accessed and will not tell you. This is the key to coming back.
Think hard of where you accessed your account in the past few weeks. If you can tell Amazon in an appeal, where it happened (EX: I opened my account at Jim’s house to help him get started), and it matches what Amazon has on file, you will be back within a day. This was learned from personal experience. Think it over.

Hello @Seller_dA0L1RuWUdj0k
Thank you for the information provided regarding the associated account you are attempting to address. I understand you do not recognize the account and that you are the only one with access to the current account. Is it only your information on the account? This includes all credit cards, emails, phone numbers, etc. Have you entered anyone else’s information into the account for any reason?
If you inputted any other information into your account and that information was shared with another account, then it will connect you and we will require an explanation as to why this connection exists. The deactivation to your account is a result of an association being found between the two accounts so this will need to be addressed in an appeal.
If you identify the association and it is still active, then you will need the other account to be reactivated before you can reactivate yours. Once you confirm the reactivation, you can submit an explanation on your own account with the date of reactivation to get reactivated.
If you have any additional details to share regarding this situation, continue to share here on this thread.
Best,
Atlas

Determine what Amazon might have found that links the accounts. It IS something.
I recommend reading over this Thread of mine from the OSFE - ℹ️ [Informative] Help for Suspended for Section 3 - We found that your account is related to an account that may not be used to sell on our site
There are no numbers to call. You have to use the button for the call back.
What was that answer? Maybe you didn't write a good enough appeal to address the issues.
That is just how they operate.
Sadly, that will never happen.

Please help. My appeal was just rejected this morning. I spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with a Charlie at Amazon corporate. She walked me through the entire appeal, she approved my submission and told me I had enough information to satisfy the request. Since I could not submit another appeal at the time, she had me submit the appeal through a case and told me that she would personally follow up. That was 3 days ago (Tuesday, November 7th).
I then received notice that my case was submitted through an incorrect channel. And my previous replies in this post have gone unanswered.
Please help me. What don't you have? I truly have no other way to demonstrate that I am not associated with the account you said I was associated with. I have identified the root cause. I have submitted proof. What else is there?
Please help me help you. I have been disabled for nearly a month and it's during the holidays.
