Items lost by FBA, getting brick walled

I have a custom-made ‘sample order’ item that was overly expensive to produce as I wanted to test the market with a smaller quantity, packed and shipped the items by hand myself, Amazon are only claiming to have received 25% of the total amount of items I sent. Auto-investigation result is that the remaining items were never sent by me, appealed this and was told this was ‘escalated’ and confirmed the original investigation result is upheld. Asking for photographic evidence showing the items in the fulfillment centre(s), asked for receiving weight, asked how the goods were presents (are they stuck together and have been batched as 1 ASIN?) as the exactness of the missing items makes me think they may have been batched accidentally (75% exactly are missing) but my ticket is now getting almost automatically closed requesting I don’t re-open. Apart from ‘you should have taken pictures of you packaging the goods’, which in hindsight I should have and will do going forward, is there anything I can do here or do I have to just eat the loss?
