VTR, Click & Drop
I have tried to use the search in this forum for the answer to this question, which has been answered, but only non-relevant topics come up!
Just had our first email re VTR below 95%. It’s at 64%. We moved back to FBM and started with Buy Shipping, but then switched to C&D as label printing was much easier.
C&D is connected to Amazon and we sent items by 1sr Class large letter. C&D update AMZ and the downloaded report of not valid tracking shows the code from the label. Typically they all seem to start with a 1.
Is this normal or can I expect problems? Is this the issue that AMZ validate behind the scenes?

I believe large letter, provided you are giving tracking codes is OK for VTR.
Amazon will still validate unscanned parcels in the background prior to ceasing your ability to sell in a category. However, you will still get warning emails. Our VTR, when we ran with Royal Mail 48, never got above 80%. We were never banned from selling.
The main issue is normally with letter post, which doesn't have any tracking code.

Correct as long as you have set C&D to transmit the tracking codes to Amazon and your not send ing anything as a letter. Although amazon do it behind the scenes it still kills the % esp if you deal with a lot of LL compared to parcels and actual tracked items we are currently sat much lower and get the emails from time to time. If they get more agggressive just point out that all the LL should be accepted behind the scenes. (Although god knows why this is still a problem app 2 years after it first appeared you would think a tech savy company like amazon would have sorte this by now.)

Amazon Don't accept letters from Click and Drop , and because the Royal Mail only scan 50-60% of Large Letters you will have a VTR issue. At one stage I have 6 categories disabled because was suing click and drop. Go back to Buy Shipping and you want have any VTR issues.

Is this implying that unscanned is treated as invalid?
So invalid 'may' mean unscanned (or an invalid code). Not invalid.... as it implies.... just not scanned?
So VTR = Valid Tracking Rate - but may actually mean valid - just not scanned ? So the code may be valid but we will call it invalid. <sigh>
