Resolved ASIN, But Still Gated for Grocery – Need Guidance on Next Steps
Hi Everyone,
Last month, we posted about an inauthentic product violation that impacted one of our Grocery ASINs. After multiple appeals we successfully got the ASIN reinstated.
However, our account is still gated for the Grocery category, and we’re unable to list any other grocery products. All documentation was submitted—including supply chain docs sent directly to Amazon by our supplier (per their policy). Nothing further has been requested, but we remain gated.
Has anyone dealt with this situation before, where the ASIN is reinstated, but the category restriction remains?
Any advice on how to get ungated again or escalate effectively would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us during the earlier stages

Hi @Seller_y96uow8gyhiOt,
I'm sorry you're having trouble listing your product. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction. For this reason, you may be required to gain approval to sell certain products. In most situations, a direct invoice from the manufacturer is required.
You will find more details about this using the resources below:
