Struggling with Advertising Costs and Low Sales on Amazon

Hello Amazon Community,

I hope you are doing well. I am Aftab Khan, the owner of the Rock Rebel store on Amazon. I'm reaching out to share my experience regarding advertising costs and their impact on my sales.

Recently, I invested INR 4285 in advertisements on Amazon, but unfortunately, my sales only amounted to INR 8888. This has left me in a position of loss, especially considering the high costs associated with advertising. Even after turning off the advertisements, I have not received any orders, which is concerning because it suggests a dependency on ads for generating sales.

I am seeking advice and insights from fellow sellers who may have faced similar challenges. How have you managed to balance advertising costs with actual sales? Are there strategies or tips you could share to improve visibility and sales without solely relying on ads?

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this challenging situation. Thank you for your support.

Warm regards,

Aftab Khan

You can use Coupons, as customer will save coupons and then may increase your sales.

You can also try running ads only on targetting keywords which will reduce un-necessary clicks.

Always remember online business is a long term game.

Talking about advertisement, in the early stages of advertising (while listing is new) there hardly is any organic search for your listings, as you gradually keep advertising more and more keywords will start giving organic views to your listing along with advertising.

So yes in initial stages listing will be heavily dependent on advertising but once it starts getting tagged with other keywords organically you will see orders coming organically.

Give some time to advertising and understand the pattern and keywords helping more in sales.

Step by Step is the process to look into.
