Brand Registry Issue [Case ID: 16975530321] My application is rejected with the following error.
"This decision was made since we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (for example: tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time of submitting the appeal form. "
I have attached the business license where they can find our business name and registration number, but still receiving the same reply like an automated message system. I have entered the name and numbers correctly as I double and triple checked. If Amazon is comparing our business name and the Brand name, we have answered that we are not the owner but have an authorization.
Here is what I answered in the registration form.
• Do you own the Trademark of the brand for which you are submitting the application?
NO, I DO NOT own the trademark BUT I have authorization from the trademark owner to represent and manage the brand.
And I have attached the Brand Authorization Letter from the trademark owner. What else could the reason be? Amazon keeps responding me with repeated same answer, I am totally lost. Also, they are not allowing me to resubmit, so I am stuck in the middle. Please advise.

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager team and I am happy to assist. Thank you for the case ID and pointing out that you are not the Trademark Owner, but are authorized and I did see the authorization letter you added to your appeal.
One reason for the decline is that your LOA does not specify that you are authorized to enroll the brand in Amazon Brand Registry. You can find this on the Amazon Brand Registry Application Guide on page 4, section 2.4 and option "C."
In addition, there is a help page the dives deeper into what a Letter of Authorization should have to be accepted.
