Every year we see the same with seasonal items. Buyers will buy items, for example Stockings for Christmas or Halloween Scyths and then following the end of the season or event, they will use various reasons to return the items, returning them used without tags and clearly either heavily used with dirt and grime on them, bent or damaged.

In the instance of the stockings, customers have returned them weeks after christmas with wrapping paper still inside.

Amazon, why do you allow this ? its crazy.

If someone orders a Halloween prop in October and then waits until after Halloween to suddenly return the item as no longer needed and then we get it back used, without tags and clearly having been used, what is our protection ?

I know you can file Safe T etc, but really, every year this is growing and growing as an issue.

You almost may as well be running a rental store at some points as its horrific.

So Amazon, what are you doing to combat this ?
