We have submitted 4 Applications to Amazon Brand Registry and each time been denied for a completely different reason then the previous application submission which was not denied on the previous application. 

We received the following from Amazon Brand Registry Teams on our last submission--we are NOT a Media company, we are a software company, selling a software solution (fulfillment of our software is no different than the digital fulfillment of a "warranty" or digital offering for a game on Xbox, PlayStation, etc.). Because we have a software offering, we DO NOT have a physical or tangible product w/ our branding affixed to it--again, it is software and we selected software in the product selection drop down. 

How are others receiving brand approval OR does anyone have a success story to share? 

From Amazon.... 

"Hello from Amazon Brand Registry Support,We are unable to approve your application at this time due to the following:

We were unable to identify proof of your brand entity based on the documents provided. You are not eligible for Brand Registry at this time. Your brand is a media brand which is currently ineligible for Brand Registry.The documents you provided suggest you are not the brand owner, but an authorized reseller of the brand's products. Only Brand Owners can apply for Brand Registry. The documents provided are not acceptable for Brand Registry. The images should not be computer generated and must be of the physical product you intend to sell on Amazon. "
