Closing our store - Cant remove inventory
We are voluntarily closing our store. We have unfulfillable inventory that has been pending for 1-2 YEARS. We have cancelled all removal orders, tried again to get them to get disposed of. Nothing works. Anyone have a clue how to get this old stagnant (and probably lost) inventory disposed of so we can close our account?

"Nothing works."
Given the time of year -- some holiday or other is apparently happening -- and then the following holiday RETURN celebration, nothing is likely to happen no matter what you try until at least February or March.
Put a tickler on the calendar and try again early (but not too early) next year!
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help but keep in mind it's the wrong time of year to expect anything except COAL in a stocking from Amazon!
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…

Only time helps. We had similar situation before and it took years to finalize the remove order and it cannot be expedited.

I recommend you report your credit card as lost/stolen so you are issued a new credit card number, making the one on file with Amazon non-functional so they can't keep charging you for storage fees for something you don't want to be stored there. Downgrade your account to non-professional in case you wish to return later, and remember it is there. But even as "individual" (non-professional), amazon may still try to get you with storage fees. The only way to prevent being charged after leaving is to cancel the credit card or have the card numbers changed.
