prepaid return label insurance
How do I get more than $100 insurance on the prepaid return labels Amazon generates?
For example, customer returns a $300 item via USPS return label made by Amazon. Item shows delivered, but I did not receive it.
SAFE-T tells me to F OFF and file a USPS insurance claim.
But USPS insurance is only $100.

Hi @Seller_IHbx8sfanyFmN, you can request exemptions from prepaid return labels for high-valued items with a price exceeding $100 that need special shipping like special shipping insurance. To do so:
- Go to your Returns Settings page and then click Manage Return Templates.
- Download the Prepaid Label Exemption template from the template drop down menu and follow the instructions in the file.
- Choose the appropriate reason code for your exemption.
- Save the template as a tab delimited (*.txt) file. Ensure you save the file while the PrepaidExemptions tab is displayed.
- Upload your (*.txt) file.
Although, do be aware that SKU exemptions for prepaid return labels do not apply to Seller Fulfilled Prime items.
