Is Amazon SERIOUS? They request testing without telling me the name and type of tests needed?
I cannot believe I am actually going through this. I have called in and emailed and contacted support multiple times and NOT A SINGLE PERSON CAN ANSWER THIS. They flagged my item that I have been selling for over a year and said that I need to submit new tests... they give me no names of the test or any option to submit documents in the performance portal. They only have two options 1. Buy mysterious unnamed tests from Amazon or 2. Appeal
How is it even possible they can ask us to submit "test" without anyone providing the name and type of tests? Do they know there are literally hundreds of different type of test you can run on batched consumer products? Is this for real? How can amazon not just have a bullet list of test names of what is required.
On top of this I had to submit 3 tests in before even getting approval to list my product. When I mentioned this to customer support they seemed to have no idea what I am talking about.
Anyone else going through this? Is it possible that Amazon has gotten this ridiculous with their policies? Where they are asking sellers for tests, and they don't even know the name of the tests they are asking for? Is this real life right now?

Good Evening @Seller_BMf05ceYXqShI,
I see that you have 2 active cases open with Selling Partner Support (one ending in 4761 and one ending in 8081) that are both sitting with the appropriate team pending review. They are both correct that they ASIN has been removed for missing compliance documentation, however as you mentioned there has not been an explanation as to what documentation is needed (hence why support has reached out to other teams at this time). They should get back to you within the next few business days.
If both cases closes and you still have questions or concerns regarding the outcome of the case, I'd be happy to continue investigating for you. Until then, please have a wonderful weekend and take care.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Morning @Seller_BMf05ceYXqShI,
I have a few updates I wanted to share with you:
- ASIN ending in FZN4 appears to have an active test report form that is currently in an "In progress status."
- ASIN ending in 6WQX still needs a lab service request using below mentioned-steps:
As Per Amazon's updated policy on dietary supplements as of 3/18/2024, Amazon requires Selling Partners to verify dietary supplement products meet our policy via third-party testing verification to ensure products offered in our store meet the following criteria:
- Go to your Manage Your Compliance dashboard.
- Click Add or appeal compliance next to the product.
- Select Request lab service.
Per Amazon's updated policy on dietary supplements as of 4/2/2024, Amazon requires Selling Partners to verify dietary supplement products meet our policy via third-party testing verification.
Amazon will no longer be accepting documents from Selling Partners directly.
For more information about Amazon's policy, please visit the Seller help page here.
We require test results that confirm your product's compliance with Amazon's policy. The test results must be submitted to Amazon directly from one of the Amazon-approved third party Testing, Inspection, and Certification organizations. Selling Partners cannot submit these documents.
Please follow the steps listed below by the due date indicated for your product in your Manage Your Compliance dashboard.
- Go to the Performance tab and select Account Health.
- Under Manage your compliance in the bottom right-hand corner, click Product compliance requests.
- Click Add or appeal compliance for the product you’re taking action on, and select Request lab service.
- Select [dietary-supplements@amazon.com] as the issue.
- Under Source/Factory location, enter the source location of your product.
