Fellow sellers tell me how Amazon throttles your exposure

Of over the decade of selling on this marketplace I have dealt with lots of headaches from buyer theft, unreasonable buyer expectations, etc. but the worst one is the 900lb Gorilla called Amazon. Amazon calls us partners but treats us like disposable children. Amazon will play with your account and throttle your listing so you aren't seen in the marketplace. Amazon will give precedence of exposure to FBA sellers because they are making more money in fees off of them. Amazon's behavior equates to Amazon crushing small independent businesses.

It feels as if Amazon is run by robots with the human element completely removed. If you have a problem you might be able to talk to a seller support rep in the Philippines with limited English speaking skills but it wouldn't matter either way as those people don't have any power to make changes. The humans who could make changes have the robot wall to prevent them from speaking or hearing from you.

Amazon's behavior doesn't provide the best shopping experience for customers or the best price. So I would like to hear from other fellow sellers and their headaches of dealing with this robotic marketplace.

Amazon didn’t just throttle my exposure—it destroyed my entire company. My product was in direct competition with theirs, and without any clear violation of policies, my account was blocked, and my product was buried. I had no chance. What hurts the most is the lack of any real human support. It felt like I was completely deceived and abandoned by a platform that claims to support small businesses. In reality, it seems like they do everything to crush us when it suits their own agenda. This has been the most devastating experience of my life, and I truly feel like Amazon betrayed me.
