Cash flow is about to break

Like many others we had a UK VAT verification on the 26th of January.

We submitted the docs several times over and sought the help of Liz and other relevant government people. They were really helpful, responded quickly and helped us fill out the forms.

We received the following emails on 29 February, 2 March and 3 March.

Hello,

Thank you for your submission regarding the business establishment verification that is associated with your value-added tax (VAT).

We have reviewed the information that you provided and we confirm that your disbursement will be released within the next payment cycle.

Until today we have not been able to get our frozen disbursements.

We have never set our account to holiday mode since the first day of the frozen funds as we are an FBA seller and in addition to the frozen £35k we have almost £15k worth of goods in the FBA warehouse which are unable to create a removal order.

This is really stressful and I would like to know how long it took everyone to get your frozen funds after getting verified? We really can't hold out much longer. I still need to pay salaries, rent and various bills. I don't know many businesses that can continue with such a shortage of cash flow.

I could take out a loan to get through this upset, but who knows when the funds will be released? The more sales that are made, the more funds that are frozen.

So helpless, checking the forums every day and seeing everyone releasing funds we were confident at first but I can't seem to hold out any longer, it's all really hard to face these bills.

It takes 2 weeks I think for disbursements. so you should be able to disburse it around mid march I think.

Cash flow is very stressful and I hope you all the best. Hopefully you will get it sorted sooner rather then later.

Not sure if this is the case for every seller but once my funds were unfrozen I was able to manually withdraw them immediately without having to wait for the next payment cycle - this doesn't release all funds but allows you to pull available funds every 24 hours.

Good luck to you.

I am happy that some sellers have finally solved the problem.

@Sakura_Amazon_ please help: Since 25/1, all disbursements have been suspended due to unmet EU business establishment requirements. We have been operating on Amazon for over 4 years with a Healthy account the entire time, and our headquarters are in the EU with registered OSS that we pay regularly. We sent over 30 emails with all the requested documents to the KYC email from our registered email. Finally, two weeks ago, we received the following response:

"...Thank you for providing your previous documents regarding the business establishment verification that is associated with your value-added tax (VAT). We are currently reviewing the information that you have provided. We will contact you as soon as we have completed this review or if we need any further information..."

Since then, there has been no progress or response. Like other sellers, we have expenses for employees, taxes, suppliers... Please provide information on what else is needed and when we can access our funds.

Thank you!

Our story was published in the The Times newspaper.
