Fees are not consistent

We sell 2 products via FBA in 1 single category. One product sells for $15.99 and the other sells for $14.99. The product that is $14.99 is much smaller in size and weight compared to the one that is $15.99, yet the Amazon fees are higher for the lower priced one. Trying to make sense of this. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have the correct weights and measurements on the item specifics? You could ask for a re-measure.

Hello @Seller_OKe1k2cKHRIkQ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community with your concern regarding the Amazon fees for your products. I understand the confusion and frustration when the fees don't seem to align with the product size and weight. Let me try to provide some clarity on this matter.

Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees are calculated based on various factors, including the product's dimensions, weight, and category. While the size and weight play a significant role, there are other factors that contribute to the overall fee structure.

One potential reason for the higher fees for your lower-priced product could be the category it belongs to. Some categories have higher fees than others due to the handling requirements, storage costs, or other operational expenses associated with those products.

Additionally, Amazon periodically adjusts its fee structure, and these changes may not always be immediately apparent or intuitive. It's possible that the fee calculations have been updated, leading to the discrepancy you're observing.

To better understand the fee breakdown for your products, I recommend reviewing the FBA Fee Preview tool available in your Seller Central account. This tool provides a detailed breakdown of the fees for each product, including the individual components such as fulfillment, storage, and other applicable fees.

If, after reviewing the fee breakdown, you still believe there may be an error or discrepancy, you can reach out to Amazon Seller Support for further assistance. They can investigate the specific case and provide more detailed explanations or adjustments if necessary.
