UPS Additional Charges

Hello,

I ask for help from moderators to escalate my case 16999234521.

I have been selling the same product for 6 years, in December before Christmas I sent some packages via UPS so that the gifts would arrive before Christmas (I do this every year), and a couple of weeks later Amazon charged me an additional $22.9 for each package with the product price of $25 and even though I had already paid for the UPS label in Seller Central (approximately $10).

One package, 1ZK8H4850332782205, was never delivered to the customer and cost me 32 dollars.

What is going on? What is the procedure to file a claim? To whom Amazon or UPS, since the labels were purchased through Amazon Seller Central I cannot write a claim directly to UPS

Thank you for sharing those Case IDs @Seller_MaEFSp3FGvQ0s

Carrier shipping correction charges are charges that originate from the carriers that Amazon passes through to sellers. If you or any sellers have adjustments you believe are incorrect, any disputes must be submitted to seller support and not directly to the carriers.

To see individual carrier adjustment details, navigate to Payments on Seller Central. In Transaction View filter by Shipping services purchased through Amazon, and then search for "Adjustment" in the Product Details column. Click on the adjustment for full details.

Your adjustments were for Additional Handling charges.

According to the UPS 2025 Daily Rate and Service Guide, Additional Handling adjustments for "Packaging/other" can also be applied to "Any cylindrical-like item, including but not limited to barrels, buckets, cans, drums, mailing tubes or pails." I included the link to the guide; "Other Charges" are detailed on Page 179.

Same issue happening with us. Mods are useless with the help. I've checked in finite detail what could be wrong and there simply isn't an answer.

Mods telling us to "contact UPS" are an Ai BS response. These are AMAZON labels, therefore WE HAVE ZERO SAY WHEN WE CALL UPS. You just get directed to reach out to Amazon.

I did the math, In the last month ALONE, Amazon has charged us additional fees totaling to OVER $5,000. Thats the additional charges on top of our NORMAL charge for shipping.

Hey, Mods at Amazon who want to regurgitate the same BS saying its "excessive width / weight / wrong address / whaetever " How come when we ship the SAME item with UPS Amazons buy shipping label, theres no additional charge, but then that SAME EXACT ITEM comes back and theres an EXACT surcharge, doesn't matter how big or small or what the item is, a charge of $25.00 each time.

This is just insane. Its literal straight up fraud. I've inquired about this over 3 months ago and still have NO answer. I've thrown away over $15,000 now in these BS additional charges that Amazon (NOT UPS, AMAZON) continues to charge us.

Someone with the time and money is going to see this and really take Amazon to legal court, man.
