Selling in USA, CAD and Mexico market from South Africa
Good day people, I just want to know how the FBM works when selling in different countries. I have sold items through FBM locally and amazon has sent the courier to my location to collect the item and send it straight to the customer. When selling in international markets will they also send a courier to my location to collect the item and have it delivered to the customer, or will I have to completely to the courier to the customer on my own, thanks for the help.

Hello @Seller_raNOyCr0LfVv4, it depends on the carrier.
Here is an overview of the process from Fulfilling International Orders on Your Own:
- The seller chooses a carrier that can ship internationally.
- The seller ships the product and is the exporter of record.
- The carrier acts as the broker by default, according to the terms and conditions on the freight bill. The carrier will collect duties from the buyer upon delivery of the products.
