Bin Check on "expired units" - Over 1 month and No Progress

Bin Check on "expired units" - Over 1 month and No Progress

Is this normal? I asked for a bin check on expired units Feb 14th (case ID 14774358041) when 3 units popped up as expired.

The only replys since then are basically "were checking".

I started another bin check/case when the total was at 21 expired units (case ID 14857029331).

Again, the only replys are "were checking".

How can they mark the units expired but are unable to provide a bin check or pictures to verify for his long?

The removal date is basically here so now the units in question will be shipped back to me, but these same units were unable to be investigated for the last month as well? What is going on here?

Yeah this stuff happens. We usually create a case saying something like, our inventory shows this item is expired but it doesn't expired until X day. Please do a bin check and return to sellable inventory.

Some requests are handled within 48 hours while others take weeks and weeks (during covid it was months -- yes, really). If the item gets set for auto removal, try to cancel the removal order and every week-ish poke the beast and ask if the bin check has been performed yet. Unfortunately there isn't a better system for this.

Oh, and their internal system keeps track of expiration dates which is why it's marked expired, but they can't seem to walk to it's location and physically look at it.
