Inventory marked as defective
I created a listing for some whitening toothpaste I plan to sell. I sent 100 units of inventory to an Amazon fulfilment centre. They were marked as defective almost immediately after being checked in. Seller support told me they can't tell me the exact reason the inventory is marked as defective but gave me some possibly reasons such as the product not matching title or description, no best before date printed on packaging or the product is missing fba labels. I am 100% certain that the shipment met the above criteria. I sent 7 more units, except this time, they had the best before date printed on the sku label, so it cant be missed. Same thing happened again! Except this time, only 5 units were marked as defective, the other 2 seem fine. There was a customer order for one of those units today. Even if there is something I'm missing here, all 7 units in that shipment are identical, so Amazon have made a mistake somewhere.
I'm out of options now. Amazon won't tell me what the problem is and I cant keep sending inventory, hoping that it will somehow be marked as fulfilable. The only issue I can think of, is the product packaging having the word "professional" in the title but the amazon listing title does not. This still wouldn't explain how 2 of them passed as fulfillable and the others didn't.
I would really appreciate any help or guidance other sellers and or mods @Spencer_Amazon @Ezra_Amazon @Simon_Amazon
Thanks in advance! :)
