I am trying to list my first listing - with my own brand.

I have a GTIN exemption for my brand - it shows as approved.

I try to make a listing using the same brand name but still get “Brand Authorisation Required” errors. Amazon support is looping me with copy-paste replies and no resolution. I am using the exact same Brand name that is showing on the GTIN exemption and the same category to sell in.

4 times now I have been declined. Tried it with the work "Ltd" and without - no joy.

Spent over 12 hours now on chat with 5 different agents - no resolution.

Still just get this same scripted reply:

Thanks for giving us the chance to help you with your request. We understand that you are facing 5461 error while trying to create a listing. During our review of your application, we identified that the product ID (UPC/European Article Number (EAN)/Global Trade Item Number/International Standard Book Number (ISBN)) was not provided. We also saw your account does not have a Global Trade Item Number exemption or a pending Global Trade Item Number exemption application. In view of the aforementioned, we had to decline your application. 

If you still wish to create this listing and have the required product ID, please review the Amazon product ID policy in the below mentioned help page and submit new application If you do not have the product ID, you can apply for Global Trade Item Number exemption using Amazon Global Trade Item Number exemption
