Hi sellers

I have recently noticed some sales where the price was lower than the price stated on the inventory page., £24.95 item sold for £21.83.

A support case was raised and I was told that Amazon can reduce the sales price for "marketplace facilitator orders "

Is this an actual Amazon policy ? can sales prices be changed without seller knowledge or approval ?
