new inventory page can't use search within page
There have been a number of threads expounding on the awful new inventory page, and rightfully so, but I didn't see this mentioned in any, so wanted to create a new thread in the hope it would be noticed by someone.
The new page breaks page search, such as hitting CTRL-F in most browsers.
Initially I thought something even more horrible at happened, like a SKU had been deleted or something, but it turns out the horrible design of this page involves actually deleting and recreating the HTML <div> tags inside the scroll window, rather than simply allowing the browser to scroll around. This explains another issue, which is that the page is weirdly slow, and renders a blank screen for a bit as you scroll around. This is completely inappropriate behavior for a webpage. Please just leave the page intact so that basic browser functions work as intended.
Or just allow the original inventory page to still be used, since it works better.

It was noted on another thread and I believe I tagged a mod on it.
Let me see if I can find it.

OK, it was on the What a complete Loser---NEW MANAGE YOUR INVENTORY thread.
@Seller_XB0lFaTWAgMqjmentioned it, and I tagged @Cooper_Amazon, noting that this was an issue that had to be addressed.
So many amateurish mistakes on the new MYI page. It's so oddly-organized and more difficult to use than the previous version (requiring more clicks for just about everything) that it truly does make you wonder about the credentials of that particular department and those who designed this.
In no way is it an improvement. It was obviously busy work for someone.

It's also stopped you from going directly from the add a product page to the click here on one that is in your listings. It takes you to MYI, and then you have to enter the ASIN/Title to go to the inventory. Oh, dear.

It was created by some engineer looking for work to stay relevant.

Mine won't let me update prices or quantity when using the Chrome browser on my phone. I have to literally edit prices and quantities by using the edit product link and opening up the entire product spec page. Or simply go on my laptop and update them. Inventory page does not work on Android phone Chrome browsers. Huge problem because it means we can't easily update our prices are quantities via mobile when we're running errands or away from our desk. Hopefully they will fix these bugs.

I want to call in the morning and find out if a spreadsheet can happen.

Amazon has repeatedly tried to fix what is not broken (the old inventory page is actually one bright spot) while ignoring true issues.

Hi folks,
I'm sorry for some of the frustrations you have had with the new Manage Inventory Page. At this time (Today, 8/27/2024) the internal team is taking live questions and feedback on this Ask Amazon Thread:
I recommend you direct your questions and concerns there. You questions and feedback may already be answered. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello @Seller_4mcVCJvBL6iWQ,
Michelle at Amazon here. Thank you for your feedback. Can you please advise which browsers that you are having this issue with so I can update the team? I use Firefox and have no issues, but it would be great if you can provide the other browsers, it will help the team troubleshoot the issue.
Thanks,
Michelle
