Payment Release Date for Deferred Transaction meaningless?
I'm a bookseller & sold a book to a library a month ago. I sent the book when it was ordered. The transaction was an "Invoiced Order" and a "Deferred Transaction"with a "Release Date" of today, 12/21/24. Yet the funds (over $100) have not been "released" and are not yet available to me. My question is, what is the meaning of the "release date" if the funds don't actually become available by that date? When will the funds be available? Does the "Release Date" have any meaning at all?
Thanks.

Release date is the date they can be sent to your bank account.... on the next regularly scheduled disbursement.
If your normal disbursement date of deferred transactions was Dec 20th, then they will go with any other transactions on Jan 3rd.

Hello @Seller_GuMVoRZfMlmg8
@Seller_2srXkS44rN39i provided you with some good information about deferred transactions and release dates.
You can also review the information provided about deferred transactions in the What is a deferred transaction? help page and about delivery date payment policy in the Payments based on delivery date help page.
You can also review your Disbursements for "Account Type: Invoiced Orders" to see if that disbursement was issued separately.
