professional or individual account

My account is professional, the documents have not been approved yet, will I pay a fee if I transfer it to individual account?

There is no such thing as a professional ACCOUNT. You need a Business seller account. If you clicked on the orange 'Sign Up' button on the registration page, then you will probably already have paid the £30 fee. To choose not to you have to scroll way down the pages to see the individual PLAN option. To clarify - professional is NOT the account type (the legal entity) it is the name of one of the selling plans.

There are two ACCOUNT types (the legal entity) :

1. BUSINESS Seller Account - for selling items bought (or made) to sell on for profit.

2. INDIVIDUAL Seller Account - ONLY for selling off one's own persoanl second-hand items such as books, DVDs CDs etc.

There two selling plans:

1. Professional Plan - where you pay a £30 a month fee, which includes various advantages.

2. Individual Plan -no monthly fee, pay an extra small fee per sale. Cannot set own shipping charge.
