Account Hacked Due to Ongoing Unauthorized Access Issues
Hello Amazon Seller Support and Community
I am writing to urgently seek help in regaining full control over our compromised Amazon Seller account under the name Tatty Goose Limited (Removed by moderator). We've experienced significant disruptions in our operations across the US, Canada, and Mexico marketplaces due to unauthorized access.
Incident Overview:
In September 2022, we received a suspicious security check message via our Amazon account. After confirming its legitimacy with Amazon support, we followed the instructions for identity verification. Unfortunately, an individual named "Kandyba Svitlana" subsequently gained unauthorized access. This breach led to a series of disruptive activities, including spam emails that obscured legitimate communications from Amazon.
The situation escalated with our accounts in the US, Canada, and Mexico being permanently terminated, presumably during Amazon's attempts to remove the hacker. This has severely impacted our ability to manage and secure our account, and we've lost all permissions necessary to access or manage our account or to reach out to Amazon support for help.
Chronology of Communications:
Regular contact was maintained with Angela from Amazon US (Amazon US Sales Rep) , who escalated the issue to the Abuse Escalations and Selling Partner Account Compromise specialists.
As of March 7, 2023, we were informed that the unauthorized user had been removed, but further checks showed that unauthorized access continues.
We are now unable to create a new seller account for North America due to our terminated status, with error messages urging new credentials for registration.
